Equation of state of n-hexane within a broad region of the critical point

The scale equation of state of n-hexane, describing its thermodynamic properties in the parameter ranges $0.64 <\rho/\rho_{\text{C}} < 1.39$; $0.992 < T/T_{\text{C}} < 1.23$ with an error close to the experimental error, is obtained from a combined analysis of $P, v, T$- and $C_P$-data. Here, the values of the critical indices were taken to be equal to their theoretical estimates.
