Theoretical-experimental studies of the interaction of a high-intensity flow of radiant heat with a material

Abstract: Results are presented from a study of heat and mass transfer on the surface of a phenol-based carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic under the conditions of a magnetically confined discharge. It is shown that, for these conditions, the interaction of a high-temperature flow of air plasma with the material is adequately modeled.
