Study of hydrodynamic and thermal characteristics of the products plume upon irradiation of a sapphire surface with a pulsed $\mathrm{CO_2}$-laser

Abstract: This work presents the results of experimental study of hydrodynamic and thermal characteristics of a plume of suboxide $\mathrm{AlO}$, produced by interaction of intensive irradiation of a pulsed $\mathrm{CO_2}$ laser with a target material. The space-time distributions of vibrational temperatures of $\mathrm{AlO}$ molecules were obtained.
