Abstract:
The development of an integral model of the processes in a gasification reactor is discussed for analyzing and optimizing technical devices with allowance for the finite rate of a key heterogeneous reaction in the calculation of the device energy and the product composition. A comparison with data obtained under thermodynamic equilibrium is given. Based on this, and a comparison of characteristics of various types of gasifiers, a conclusion is made about the expediency of their application in concrete problems, particularly for the use of gasification in a recycling technology. Using a developed software, an alternative schematic of the entrained flow gasifier is considered and optimized.
