Abstract:
A method is suggested, which enables one to determine the interfacial tension on the interface between stratifying liquids using the equipment for measuring the ultrasonic velocity by the pulse-phase method. This method is employed for measuring the temperature dependences of interfacial tension in $\text{Ga}$–$\text{Bi}$ and $\text{Ga}$–$\text{Pb}$ systems in the monotectic to critical temperature range. The results are in good agreement with literature data.
