Cathode spots on metallic electrodes of a vacuum arc-discharge

Parameters of cathode spots on silver, nickel, and copper electrodes are calculated. An analysis is made of the properties of the solution of the system of equations for the near-cathode region on tungsten electrodes. It was established that the spot parameters are similar for both silver and copper, but rather different for nickel.
