Abstract:
The paper presents an outline of a calculation for the equilibrium properties of a symmetric binary charged-particle system with a mild repulsion. The values are calculated for internal energy, equation of state and thermal coefficients, for an isotherm and an isobar in the subcritical region using an $NpT$ ensemble. The data for the isotherm and comparison with the model of solid charged spheres confirm the presence of a previously observed boundary between the Debye region and the ionic-pair region.
