Viscosity of sulfur hexafluoride at temperatures of $230$$800$ K and pressures up to $5 \times 10^8$ dyn/cm$^2$

Abstract: Sulfur hexafluoride is used extensively a gas insulator in high-voltage switches due to its high thermal stability. Results are given of an experimental investigation of the viscosity of sulfur hexafluoride in the liquid phase.
