Abstract:
The coefficient of thermal conductivity of monoatomic vapors of mercury and cesium was measured. With a temperature less than $100^{\circ}$ K, where it is difficult to use the differential method due to the large value of the end effects, a modification of the method of a heated filament was used. It is shown that the results thus obtained coincide with the results obtained by other authors. A comparison was made for air, argon, mercury, and cesium.
