Abstract: For a linear system where a plant and a regulator communicate over a network a stabilization problem is solved in the presence of possible packet dropouts. Dropouts are modeled with a Markovian chain. Cases of state-based and output-based feedback are studied. In both cases LMI technique proved to be efficient.

Keywords: linear discrete systems, networked stabilizing control, packet dropouts, Markovian model, linear matrix inequalities.
