Alternative fractional modification of Hirsch index to care for authors’ count in article cited

Shortcomings are studied of the Hirsch index and of the other similar scientometric indices, which do not consider co-authors’ count or consider it with logical errors. The fractional analog is proposed of the Hirsch index, which cares for the co-authors’ count and accurately measures the individual scientific merit of researchers from fields with traditionally low citation rates.
