Abstract: We present the results of analytical and computer predictions about the spatio–spectral configuration of the radiation generated at consecutive two-stage processes of parametric scattering and the sum frequency generation in a layered nonlinear crystal. A procedure for the derivation of analytical estimates, including the solution of the phase matching problem. Some quite bizarre spatio-frequency spectra are shown.
