Abstract: Similarity relations are discussed for low-temperature gas discharges with a low degree of ionization. The relations are obtained by requiring that the Boltzmann equations (B-similarity) and the field equations (F-similarity) be invariant. Conditions are determined for these two relations to be mutually compatible and for complete similarity to exist in the discharge.
