The smart home and telemedicine for senior citizens

Abstract: The concept of Smart Habitat for the Health of the Seniors shall provide a decent living for the elderly in their homes. The paper presents an intelligent approach combining the smart home and telemedicine through information systems, smart home hardware, ubiquitous sensors, and robotics. Standardization and some ethical issues are also considered.
