Abstract:
The paper proposes a method for determining stress concentrations near holes of a general type in a continuously inhomogeneous infinite plate, when the contour of the hole is subjected to uniform shear stress. It is assumed that the plate material has a weak inhomogeneity. The problem is solved by the method of small parameters (physical and geometric) and is reduced to a recurrent sequence of boundary value problems of the homogeneous theory of elasticity. For a given inhomogeneity, an expression for the concentration coefficient is obtained.
