Abstract:
The photoelectrochemical properties of Fe$_2$O$_3$ photoelectrodes are studied depending on the content of intrinsic and impurity defects. It is shown that doping with group IV elements leads to an increase in the photosensitivity of Fe$_2$O$_3$ electrodes. The nature of the formation of phases in the partial reduction of Fe$_2$O$_3$ has also been studied.
