Abstract:
By the method of light scattering the influence of UV-radiation of molecular characteristics of high pressure polyethylene (HPPE) in dependence of thickness of the species has been investigated. A considerable direct Increasing of the average-mass molecular mass, sizes and degree of molecular branching of HPPE macromolecules with the increase of radiation duration has been observed. It has also been established that the velocity of changes in HPPE molecular characteristics depends on the thickness of radiated species.
