Abstract: In the preceding paper the discharge current, the axial component of the ion current and the formation of naturally collimated intense ion beam of Penning's cell center in dependence of anode length have been investigated experimentally. It has been established that in the given ceil $(d_3=13~ mm)$ the change of the anode length leads to a new distribution, which influences on the ions motion and collimation degree of the ion beam. The optimal values of the anode length have been determined when the formation and collimation of the narrow ion beam is received.
