Abstract:
The article is devoted to the determination of the stresses arising between a rectangular plate and a hard cover plate, and the deflection of the median surface of the plate under steady forced vibrations. An analytical solution of the problem is obtained, and numerical experiments are made. It is investigated how accounting of the transverse shear deformation and the rotational inertia of the plate, the position and massiveness of the cover plate, and the boundary conditions influence the distribution of the contact stresses and the spectrum of natural frequencies.
