Abstract:
The transverse structure of two-component solitary waves propagating in uniaxial crystal is investigated. Such wave consist of quasimonochromatic and ultimately short pulses (video pulses). They have the structure of transverse field defects in form of “dark” vortices and “holes” under condition of positive group velocity dispersion. In the opposite case they have structure of fully localized “bright” vortices and optical bullets, which are stable with respect to collapse due to influence of nonlinearity of video pulse.
