Abstract:
Currently, carbon nanotubes are one of the most popular nanomaterials intensely studied in various fields of science and technology. One of the rapidly developing applications of carbon nanotubes is electrochemical/electronic biosensor construction. The present article briefly reviews the recent advances in carbon nanotube-based technology of constructing electrochemical biosensors for analysis of nucleic acids. Particular attention has been paid to original studies carried out at the Department of Biochemistry, Kazan State University.
