Bionanotechnology: stages of the research at the Department of Biochemistry of Kazan State University.

The article reviews the research in the area of bionanotechnology at the Department of Biochemistry of Kazan State University starting from the pioneering works in immune electron microscopy facilitated by antibody-conjugated gold nanoparticles and up to the recent developments of biological nanofilms and carbon nanotubes-based biosensors.
