Algorithm for Analysizing AFM Images with Complex Morphology

Abstract: In this work, a new algorithm for analyzing AFM images of nanoparticles was proposed. This algorithm takes into account large-scale roughness of surface and adhered particles. The quality of the algorithm was tested on model surfaces with nanoparticles. One of the possible uses for this algorithm is the analysis of the catalytic systems with metal nanoparticles on a surface.
