Synthesis and Structure of Photonic Crystals Based on Polystyrene Microspheres

Abstract: An effective method is proposed for identifying structural defects in photonic crystals, which can be used to improve various methods of sample synthesis. The structural characteristics of photonic crystals based on polystyrene microspheres are investigated by methods of spectrophotometry and atomic force microscopy.
