Abstract:
The paper presents theoretical study of the properties of photon echo (PE) signals cyclically excited in a multipulse mode, and discussion of possible applications to constructing an optical coprocessor. The research is based on mathematical modeling methods for modes of multipulse cyclic excitation and registration of PE signals. A method for optimization of “area” values of pulses in exciting sequences is developed. This allows maximizing the number of registered PE signals excited in a multipulse mode. On the basis of revealed combinatorial and polarizing properties of registered PE signals, new methods for optical data processing are developed.
