Abstract:
Analytical expressions allowing to estimate the cross section or power of microparticle fluorescence under laser pulse irradiation were obtained to interpret physical experiments. The superfluorescence effect was confirmed and the generation threshold for this effect in a spherical microcavity was determined with account of its morphology and laser pulse duration. It was established that the evolution of superfluorescence in a mode is possible only at a sufficiently high concentration of organic molecules, which provides the required value of energy influx into the mode as a result of superfluorescence.
