Abstract:
The nonlinear optical properties of the composite material based on quartz glass with copper nanoparticles synthesized by ion implantation were investigated. The optical limiting effect for laser emission with a wavelength of 532 nm, energy of 18–22 $\mu J$ and pulse duration of 12 ns was observed. Based on $z$-scan measurements the nonlinear absorption factor of $(3.63\pm0.09)\cdot10^{-6}$ m/W was estimated.
