Abstract:
The paper presents a numerical-analytical technique for solving contact problems in the theory of plates and shells. The solution of an integral equation describing the contact conditions is reduced to the solution of a system of linear algebraic equations. This system is formed and solved by the computer. The technique was applied to the solution of the problems of contact interaction between a plate and a stamp under different boundary conditions.
