The parameters of the position of the Moon's center of mass relative to its center of figure based on the data of Clementine and Kaguya missions and ULCN catalogue
Abstract:
This paper determines new parameters of the orientation of the Moon's center of mass relative to its center of figure. A new method is based on the direct use of the selenocentric catalogue Kazan-1162 (KSK-1162) built in the system of the Moon's center of mass and principal axes of inertia. Robust analysis shows that the Kazan catalogue has close agreement with the data of the recent lunar missions Clementine and Kaguya and ULCN catalogue.
