Abstract:
The technique of competence estimation of a trainee, based on a cognitive model reflecting the influence of studying disciplines on the formation of various competences of an expert is described in the paper. Additive and multiplicative compression of a vector criterion is used in order to calculate characteristics of the level of competence and competency development. The offered method, based on the expert data, may be applied to evaluate students’ competency studying at different specialities at any stage of study.
