Abstract:
Levenberg–Marquardt algorithm (LMA) is the most common algorithm for minimizing quadratic deviations. Its advantages are the high rate of calculation and ensuring of convergence in comparison with the Gauss–Newton method and other conjugate gradients methods. The authors used the LMA to find the parameters of binary interaction in the equations of Wilson, NRTL and UNIQUAC using known experimental data of vapor-liquid equilibrium of binary pairs.
