Abstract:
The analysis of human needs, based on the data by A. Maslow and taking into consideration the main kinds of human activities is carried out. So, the classification of hotel services based on information from Russian classifier of public services is made. The matrix of human needs and services in the hospitality sphere is described. The matrix of services of a modern hotel is constructed based on the expert interviews. The approach to modelling the processes of providing services of a modern hotel based on the method of constructing a "tree of contradictions" is suggested. The analysis of the client's arrival purposes, his potential needs and functional comparison of the types of hotel services helped construct the modern hotel set of services model, which can be implement-ed in its information system. The logical database model for the information system of the hotel is given.
