Model of communication system of marine watch keeping in steady equilibrium information state

Abstract: It is shown that the implementation of the requirements to maintain the safe navigation of the vessel can be achieved by controlling information flows in organizational and technical systems of watch keeping. The transformation of organizational and technical systems of ship watch keeping into communication system when the organizational and technical system of ship watch keeping is considered only in terms of information co-relations of its elements — regardless their inner structure and application. The general principles of the development of the communication system of watch keeping are explained. The models of the steady (equilibrium) state of the system are proposed. The recommended technique allows to obtain improved estimations for the probability of implementing a steady distribution of message flows in the communication system and makes it possible to evaluate this state in more complex situations, where pairs of interacting elements are connected with more than one communication channel.
