The algorithm of calculation of the shell thickness, overcome spherical body

Abstract: The algorithm of calculation of the maximum thickness of the plastic barriers, overcome spherical body with given geometric, kinematic and physical-mechanical parameters, which is based on the analysis of the deformation of a barrier and a spherical body. The technique uses the minimum parameters of the body and the obstacles presented in the relevant references. It does not require expensive mechanical and ballistic tests, based on the calculation of energy balance: energy barriers and deformation of a spherical body, the energy to move the body before the emergence of boundary stresses, leading to the destruction of barriers on the one hand and the initial kinetic energy of the spherical body with the other hand. The example used methodology (algorithm) of calculation, which showed that sufficiently accurate coincidence of the experimental and theoretical data.
