Abstract:
The paper considers the task of increasing the efficiency of performing construction work on the basis of constructing formalized models that most adequately reflect the various processes associated with construction activities with a view to the subsequent introduction of automation and automation facilities in processes related both directly to construction activities and to processes associated with the preparation, organization and support of these works. As an object of research, haulage vehicles have been selected as one of the most important components of the construction process. The problem of minimization of losses occurring in the course of operation
of lifting and transportation facilities at the construction site has been set and formalized. Possible reasons of losses and costs related both directly to handling equipment and to the process of their servicing during construction work are described; seven possible reasons have been identified. There have been obtained expressions for the loss values associated with each of the reasons, and on the basis of these expressions, relations were written for the total losses occurring in the process of performing auxiliary operations of hoisting-and-transport equipment at the construction site. The resulting expressions for the total losses depend on seven auxiliary functions. The analysis of the structure of auxiliary functions has been performed, factors determining values of these functions have been revealed, and the relations for all auxiliary functions, as well as for the parameters and constants included in these functions, have been obtained. The inferred relationships present the basis for formalizing the task of minimizing losses associated with the process of performing auxiliary operations in the operation of lifting and transportation vehicles at the construction site. The research results can be used for further implementation of automation means into construction processes and into processes of preparing, organization and support of construction works.
