The role of discipline “Theory of decision-making” in preparation of engineering students

The problem of qualitative training of future engineers using the apparatus of decision-making theory is examined. The general scheme of decision-making on major stages is given; the conditions required to describe the formulation of the problem of choice are considered; the classification of decision-making problems is presented. The basic components of the decision-making system are described.
