MATHEMATICS-COMPUTER SCIENCE
Introdaction of the Editor-in-Ñhief of the journal "The Bulletin of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. Mathematics. Computer Science. Mechanics series" about the issue purposes and the ways of its implementation
Abstract:
The scientific policy of the journal series as ensuring the entry of Kazakhstan into the 4th
industrial revolution in the form of the Program "Kazakhstan enters the mass production of IT specialists of
the highest qualification with thorough basic training and experience in solving problems at the forefront of
mathematics and computer science with significant results" is defined in the article.
The author’s ITMSC is defined as the way of fulfilling the scientific policy of the Series. The final program
of school mathematics is given in full in the "Question-Answer" format and student who has mastered
this program can successfully study at any university in the world, with the transition to "Mathematical
Analysis" , the assimilation of which will ensure "mathematical maturity" with subsequent comprehension
of the author’s "Measure and Lebesgue Integral" and "Probability Theory", which together will determine
readiness for scientific work on 20 author’s directions and subjects with 70 percent or more head start,
guaranteed removing at the most advanced positions in international mathematics-computer science.
Mathematics is a systematic science, therefore the teaching material for its mastering from the full school
curriculum from the first to the last classes should constitute a single interconnected course according to the
principle "every thought is the basis of the next", with the transition to the program material of the higher
school.
In general, school and university programs should ensure the formation of " mathematical maturity", in
which the solution of problems occupies its specific sphere, when a meaningful entry into a peculiar world of
mathematics supports the task material in the form of various special techniques and methods.
And all these requirements fully provide the author’s textbooks ITMSC. It is a school textbook, created
as the winners of the MES RK Competition 2000, titled "The Algebra and the Beginning of Analysis for
the X-XI Classes" in the "Author’s Team - Publisher" format and the fundamental course "Mathematical
analysis" in 70 printed sheets, which was created by the decision of the Scientific and Methodological Council
for Mathematics of the Ministry of Higher Education of the KazSSR of 1978, with the second edition in 2018.
Here, apparently, it is worth drawing attention to the low effectiveness of teaching one formative understanding
of a particular field of science by the simultaneous implementation of several textbooks with various
methodological guidelines (such as Geometry by A. V. Pogorelov and L. S. Atanasyan).
The fact is that if it is a textbook of the author(group of authors) with a whole understanding and vision
of science, then the confusion of different approaches to the coverage of discipline will cause chaos in the
mind of the learner.
While a complete course on one fundamental textbook with a cursory glance at other textbooks will be
useful in the sense of "It turns out that this topic can be expressed and so". In general, you should always
keep in mind the principle of preserving difficulties, when on a large space of the discipline presentation
"Winning in one topic entails a loss in another".
Further, the contents presented in the text in the "Question-Answer" form gives a complete list of necessary
and sufficient material at the same time in a minimal and detailed systematic presentation, which we think
will be very useful as a well-defined, thus, the realistically achievable line, required for arming the person
with "mathematical maturity" with the subsequent impact in all the rehearsals of one’s own life as much as
effective and meaningful mathematics as a method and as a moral science.
And, finally, it is hoped that scientific searches in 20 directions and topics of ITMSC, along with other
high-quality domestic research will fully provide the Series of the journal with publications of international
level. This is the development of mathematics and informatics in modern Kazakhstan without any claims for
export - each country will deal with its own science itself.
