Abstract:
The paper is devoted to the detection of the law of frequency distribution in high-frequency geoacoustic emission signals generated in the result of dislocation changes in sedimentary rocks. Sparse approximation is used for emission pulse processing. As a consequence, a signal is decomposed into atoms with a definite frequency corresponding to the size of a shear source. On the basis of Kolmogorov criteria, it was ascertained that distribution of atoms in a geoacoutstic signal corresponds to the lognormal law.
