Abstract:
The results of the monitoring of agreed variations of radiation values on time scales from the synoptic to an annual were analyzed in this paper. These radiation values can serve as indicators of extremal natural and technogenic phenomena, alone or in a certain set. It is shown that the balance between the main sources of ionizing radiation in the surface atmosphere depends on the time of year, and extremes appear due to processes of melting (formation) of snow cover. A method for determining the optimal set of radiation values, which when synchronous monitoring can be valid and reliable tracers/indicators of extremal natural or man-made phenomena, was developed
