Abstract:
The possibility of using CMG-3TB (GURALP) seismometer mass displacement records for the analysis of low-frequency soil movements is being considered. It is shown that recordings of mass displacement channels are suitable for studying signals up to frequencies in hundredths of millihertz. It is hoped that the data of the mass displacement channels will be useful in observing relatively slowly changing processes, for example, slopes and changes in gravity on active volcanic structures associated with the introduction of magma.
