Geomagneticinduced currentsin electric power systems

Abstract: On the example of the local powergrid of Kamchatka shows the relationship between the magnitude of industrial current harmonics and variations of Earth's magnetic field. Shows dependence of mechanism of geomagnetically induced currents creation from topology of powergrid.
