Abstract:
A mathematical model for computing velocity fields for the case of coastal systems and shallow water basins such as the Sea of Azov is proposed. Distinctive features of the developed algorithms are high efficiency, reliability, and accuracy of the results. A parallel method and the numerical results obtained when modeling the hydrodynamic processes in the Sea of Azov with the use of the Azov3D software package designed in TIT SFedU are considered. Some theoretical and experimental estimates of speedup and efficiency for the parallel algorithm are discussed.
