Abstract: Problems of high-performance computer simulation and refining the technological regimes of forming airframe panels and calculation of their parts are considered. Some numerical results of using FEM-computations obtained on the MVS-1000 supercomputer and on a cluster of standard PCs are given. An algorithm designed for stress calculation with consideration of the material heteroresistance is applied. Simulation data are compared with small-scale and full-scale experiments. Computing efficiency of clusters with various number of nodes is estimated. The paper was prepared on the basis of the authors' report at the International Conference on Parallel Computing Technologies (PaVT-2007; http://agora.guru.ru/pavt).
