The growth of the Lie algebra generated by two generic vector fields on the line

The paper deals with a Lie algebra generated by two generic vector fields on a straight line. It is proved that this algebra has an intermediate growth (between a polynomial and an exponential growth). A hypothetical explicit formula is given for dimensions of homogeneous components.
