Abstract: A numerical method to determine the stress-strain state and bearing capacity of a blade for breaking the blade is proposed. The method of blade breakage consists in a redistribution of stresses in the rear cross section of the blade because of an additional thermal loading and in the enforcement of destruction over this cross section at a given frequency of rotation. Some results of numerical study of the stress-strain state are discussed for the case when the cross section is weakened. The proposed method was used to test the impenetrability of the frame using an acceleration stand.

Key words: blade, numerical method, strength, stresses, break, weakened cross section, heating, additional loading.
