Kronecker indices of the Lie algebra and an estimate for the degrees of invariants

The notion of Kronecker indices of a Lie algebra as integers naturally connected to its structure tensor is introduced. A lower bound for the degrees of polynomial invariants of the coadjoint action in terms of Kronecker indices is proved.
