Normality and curvilinear limits of meromorphic functions and their applications

This paper consists of two parts. In the first part, the behaviour of meromorphic functions along arbitrary Jordan curves ending at a single boundary point is studied. The second part describes applications of the results of the first part to the study of the value distribution of meromorphic functions in terms of $P$-sequences.
