Growth estimates of perturbations in eigenvalue problems for the Rayleigh equation

{Several upper estimates for the parameter characterizing a time increase of perturbations in some eigenvalue problems for the Rayleigh equation are obtained. Either the impermeability conditions or the free surface conditions are accepted on layer boundaries.
