Abstract: The process of phase transition of water — ice is accompanied by an additional energy release and can be considered as an example of a system, typical for processes of combustion and detonation in chemically reactive mixtures. Then in a tube of a supercoolled liquid as analog of a long cylindrical charge of explosive the propagation of self-sustaining wave of condensation along a charge caused, as it is possible at shock-wave action on charge butt-end, for example. Such wave of condensation is analog of normal burning wave spreaded along a charge of a reacting mixture.

Keywords: phase transition, condensation front, front of normal burning, deflagration, detonation, shock adiabata, adiabata of energy-release.
