About scientific results of Pavel Petrovich Belinskii

Abstract: Doctor of Physical-Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Honoured Science Worker of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic P. P. Belinskii (23.09.1028 – 30.12.1986) was one of the first research workers of the Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences and also was the first dean of NSU mechanic-mathematical department. Together with M. A. Lavrentiev he was the founder of quasiconform mappings theory. He produced the solution for the row of classic problems of the theory and his ideas and results became the source for new actively developing branches of the geometric theory of functions. In this issue you'll find the review of results by P. P. Belinskii, dedicated to his $80^{th}$ anniversary.
